Berry Delicious

My walks down Harry's Road are full of life and beauty. Johnny gets so excited when he sees me grab my sneakers and pull back my hair! It is a different world and I am happy to be a part of
it right now :)
Come December... I might have a different story about the scenery.

My husband has Arrived!

Mama Hobbs' and I have been working hard this past week to get everything situated and ready for our year together :) I also wanted to have everything snuggly cozy for when Reilly finally arrived. I have missed him so much. He made it in one handsome piece and he Loved our new room!

Starting School with a Bang (literally)

I started classes Tuesday. My first day was LONG and intense. I have a heavy course load of Chem, Microbiology, Psychology, and Nutrition along with 2 Labs to keep me busy for then next few months. I never thought I would like going to back to school- but I must admit that I am loving it. (Even though it has only been a day and a half...)
I did "zone out" during role call and forgot that I am a Hobbs instead of a Ziegler and that my name is now called somewhere in the middle as opposed to always being last... I managed to overcome that embarrassment. But I have the mark of embarrassment smack on the middle of my forehead- Yes... I was talking to the nice young gentleman that was sitting next to me as we were walking out of class, and Alas!... I slammed head first into the glass wall upon exiting the building. The building shook something fierce upon impact. Now, tell me if you have a story that might compare and I will be impressed.
Homework time.
It's raining and dreary today. I think I'll curl up with Doris Day.

Who is Harry Anyway?

Arriving at 7485 East Harry's Road was delightful! I was welcomed
with Hugs from all the Hobbs'- even the animals were excited
I was there. Sammy was eager to check out everything. Baby (Devon's little kitty) and Johnny (the big huge Black Dog that still thinks he is a lap puppy) were NOT happy to have my grey Prince prancing around their turf.
Papa Hobbs had to leave for the boat my first night there and left us girls to cause trouble organizing the house :)
We spent the first few days catching up, unloading my life, and moving artwork and bureaus from one room to the next- All the while tripping over and getting in the way of the gentlemen doing the remodeling on the house.
Oh yea, I forgot sometime in there we needed to buy a 50" flat screen television. I forget why that was important.
I can relate to Annie after she was at Daddy Warbux's
mansion when she sang...
"I think I'm Gonna Like it Here!"

Two Girls, A Truck and A lot of Stuff

The journey began! Life changes ever so quickly. Although, One would have never imagined life could change so drastically. City mouse to country mouse is my story.

After Living outside of Philadelphia for the past year and spending half of my time in traffic, change was welcomed with pleasure! We decided to make the big move and snuggle in to life in northern Michigan for the time being.
Dear Mindie flew all the way to the East Coast under somewhat tumultuous circumstances to be my PENSKE partner for the 1,000 mile trip to our new "home". Leaving was bitter sweet. I was sad to leave my family, but eager to embark on the next chapter.
21 Feet of Large Truck a bag of Trail Mix and Sammy our cat- and the trip began.
It was long, but Fun! Reilly stayed behind with only an air mattress and a suitcase to his name.
I felt a sense of Freedom as soon as I crossed the Walt Whitman Bridge. As if all of the feelings of discontent I had been having lately were lifted and left behind.
We made GREAT time :) and we were safe and sound 12 hours later in Grand Rapids.
