I finished Finals on Friday morning after cramming for many many hours. As soon as I finished the real fun began :) Mama Hobbs and I have been wedding planning for about 3 months now for Misty's wedding (Reilly's sister.) She and her fiancee Mitch live in South Dakota and were traveling all the way to Traverse City for the wedding-
There were many sweet details that just added so much to the ambiance and success of the wedding, but the most near and dear creation were the center pieces that I managed to get myself in way to deep with. I had this incredible idea of using Mama Hobbs' antique cake platters to make individual cakes for each table (12 tables!)
Reilly and I had spent the entire weekend before baking cakes (about 18 batches) all from scratch. Reilly became a master sifter.!.!.!
We took the cakes out of the freezer First thing Saturday morning and began the 'fun' part... Let the pictures show the rest! The most unbelievable part was the way we got the cakes from point A to point B. Everyone chipped in, and in the end the wedding was a smashing good time ;) And the cakes were the best I have EVER had! DELISH....!!!!
